CPA Bermuda, in partnership with the CPA Atlantic School of Business (ASB), is committed to promoting and delivering top-tier accounting and business education in Atlantic Canada and Bermuda. Bermudian students have the opportunity to obtain their Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation through ASB without leaving the island. The CPA designation opens doors both locally and internationally; the opportunities are limitless.

There are numerous pre-approved training offices in Bermuda. A pre-approved training office refers to an organization or employer that has been approved by ASB and CPA Bermuda to offer structured and supervised training programs for individuals pursuing the Canadian CPA designation. These organizations must meet standards and guidelines to ensure that candidates receive the necessary practical experience and mentorship to fulfill the practical experience requirements (PER) for CPA Certification. Pre-Approved Program Route Offices
Pre-Approved Program Route (PPR) refers to an employer training program that is approved by a provincial professional body in advance of hiring any specific employee. These programs have been specifically designed to provide CPA candidates all their required practical experience within 30 months.
Please note that practical-experience requirements for public accounting are, for the most part, not additional requirements. They are specific choices you can make within the general requirements for CPA certification.
